We aim to ensure our young people reach their potential and raise their aspirations for their future careers. Over 80% of our students continue in education and training beyond 16. Sixth Form Courses
We have designed our curriculum to be flexible to meet individual students’ needs.
Levels of ability, student commitment and effort along with general enthusiasm are taken into account when choosing a course which suits the individual.
Government, University and Employers’ recommendations are that students broaden their learning experiences in 6th Form.
At Burnside we have made it possible for students to combine vocational and academic qualifications in their programme of study. We also offer a range of Curriculum Enrichment Courses as well as extra-curricular opportunities.
